Customer supplied parts

In the scenario where a customer supplies the part and the repair shop performs the labor, the responsibility for the failure of the part and any subsequent repairs lies with the customer. The repair shop is not liable for the part failure, and if the part fails again, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the repairs. This is because the repair shop has no warranty on customer-supplied parts, and they do not cover labor for parts that are not supplied by the shop.
